Traditional alloy steel quenching and tempering typically use oil quenching because oil cools slowly; if the cooling rate is too fast, it can cause quenching cracks or even more severe issues. However, quenching oil is relatively expensive, requires a large amount, and causes pollution, which poses significant challenges for manufacturers. Currently, the horizontal spray quenching machine offers a water, air, and mist multifunctional, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, zero-emission quenching method. It can determine the optimal cooling process for quenching roller-type, shaft-type, and tube-type workpieces based on the required cooling rate of the material.
